Morton Label

Packaging and three dimension design project are fun for me. I enjoy figuring out how different labels will work with different bottles and coming up with a design of my own. The Vanilla Extract and Almond Extract labels concentrate on the Mexican history of the flavoring. The background in the label is designed after a Mexican tile. The color scheme of earth tones further emphasizes the origins of the spices. The labels were then printed out on cold press watercolor paper which symbolizes the texture of the earth. In most of the projects, the kind of paper upon which you print a design makes a difference. Overall, the piece gives an earthy feel.
